Mahayla Janae
Hullo my friends!
My name is Mahayla Janae and I've been on the arduous and beautiful journey of claiming the abundant life God has for me. That includes garnering certifications in Complex Trauma and Human Flourishing.
When I write, I keep in mind that we all have stories with ups, downs, joys, and traumas. My stories cover hard topics but always end with hope in Jesus Christ, using the Redemptive Character Arc. After all, God is constantly redeeming beautiful things in our lives.
MEET THE WRITER
My Manifesto.
I am qualified to share my experiences and how God met me there.
I write because God called me to. It offers me and others healing by sharing the gospel and testimony of what Jesus has done. Writing is a tool to invite others into loving conversations about God, love, life, healing, hope, joy, and purpose. Tacos can and should end up in my writing because I love them. Laughter should be evident because laughter is medicine to the body. Jesus wept, so tears are welcome too. Continue to learn and grow, but don’t wait to become an “expert” or get it “perfect” before allowing God to use my talents. Write on a topic if it comes to mind. Wait on publishing if it is an “expert” topic but don’t hold back from writing about it. Pull out old pieces and look at them with grace and opportunity. Let yourself enjoy the first draft. NEVER forget that you have an audience that God is reaching through YOU. Not everyone will understand WHY you write about what you write. Your writing is YOUR worship to God. It is YOUR alabaster jar, do not let anyone convince you your jar isn’t enough.
You never know who is on the other side of your obedience - Christine Caine

My Belief Statement
I believe...In God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. The Trinity as Three in One, each fully individual and fully God.
I believe...The Bible is the Infallible Word of God.
I believe...Humans are image-bearers of Christ and are worthy of dignity.
I believe...Sin has separated us from God requiring a death penalty, and that is why Jesus offered atonement through His death on the cross, and defeated it through His resurrection.
I believe...Salvation is offered to anyone who would admit they are sinners, believe and confess that Jesus as their Lord that they will be saved; and that is by Christ alone that one can receive this gift.
I believe...Sanctification is the ongoing process of living our lives as God intended it, in surrender to Christ.
I believe...Jesus will one day come back on an awesome white horse and will judge the living and dead.
